Badam Phirni

Brown Rice, Almond Milk, Jaggery are the key ingredients for this vegan phirni.
Ingredients
Wash and soak brown rice in water for 1 hours. Next, drain water from the rice.
Step 1
Spread soaked rice on a metal strainer or dry kitchen towel. Allow it to completely dry.
Step 2
Make a coarse powder of rice, cardamom, and saffron.
DO NOT make a fine powder.
Step 3
Boil almond milk. Simmer the milk over low heat till it reduces to half the original amount.
Step 4
Add rice powder once the milk is reduced to almost half. Stir continuously.
Step 5
Once phirni is thick, add jaggery and stir to combine nicely. Cook for a few more minutes.
Step 6
Serve Phirni Chilled in a mitti ke kulhad
