Sabudana Khichdi

Sabudana (tapioca pearls) are the key ingredient of this khichdi recipe. It is a gluten free dish.
Ingredients
Soak sabudana in water for 5 hours. It will absorb all the water.
Step 1
Next day, transfer soaked sabudana to a strainer. Rinse well with running water.
Step 2
This step drain out all the starch from the soaked sabudana and make it non sticky.
Expert Tip
Blend coriander, mint, green chilli, ginger to a smooth paste using water.
Step 3
Heat ghee. Add mustard seeds, peanut, and curry leaves. Fry for 1 minute.
Step 4
Add diced potato, salt, and pepper. Mix nicely. Cover and cook over low heat.
Step 5
Add the sabudana, green paste, and mix well until combined well. Cook covered for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Garnish sabudana khichdi with fresh coriander and pomegranate.
Step 7
Serve Sabudana Khichdi warm wiith chutney!
