Milk, Sabudana, Carrot, Ghee, Sugar are the key ingredients to make a delicious sabudana kheer. 

Ingredients

Soak sabudana in water for 4 hours. It will absorb all the water. 

Step 1

After 4 hours, soak it once again in ½ cup milk for 1 hour. This makes sago pearls creamy. 

Step 2

Heat ghee in a kadhai. Once hot, add carrot. Fry for 5 minutes to soften.

Step 3

Add milk, cardamom powder, saffron, and cook till one boil comes.

Step 4

Add soaked sabudana along with milk. Stir. Cook over low heat till kheer is thick.

Step 5

Once the texture of the kheer turns creamy, add sugar. Stir and simmer the kheer till sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 5

Fry mixed nuts and dried fruits in ghee for adding to the  kheer as a topping.
