Rava Idli
Heat ghee in a pan. Add all the tempering ingredients and fry for 3 minutes. Next, add rava and fry for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Step 1
Make a thick dropping consistency idli batter using curd and water. Add fruit salt/cooking soda and mix nicely.
Step 2
Transfer the batter to a microwave friendly idli stand. Make sure to grease the each cavaity with ghee.
Step 3
Microwave the idli covered for 5 minutes at high power. You can cook idli in a gas steamer as well.
Step 4
With the help of a spoon remove idlis from the mold. Transfer to a plate.
Step 5
Serve Rava Idli with sambar.
