Orange is the star ingredient for this jam recipe. Apart from that you need sugar and lime juice.

Ingredient

Wash the  orange in baking soda and water. Rub the skin of oranges nicely. 

Step 1

Wipe clean the oranges and pat dry with a towel. Make sure they are not wet or moist.

Step 2

Collect orange juice and pulp in a bowl. Discard white pith and seeds. 

Step 3

Cut orange rind into juliennes or thin slices. 

Step 4

Combine sugar, orange rind, lime juice, pulp, and juice. Keep aside 15 minutes. 

Step 5

Start cooking the marmalade on low heat. It will be watery with white foam on top.

Step 6

Slowly, the white foam will start reducing. Use a ladle to gently mash the marmalade.

Step 7

After 30 minutes on low heat, the marmalade will start sticking to the spoon. Turn off the heat.

Step 8

Store Orange Marmalade in the refrigerator
