Apart from a few Indian pantry staples you need cooked yellow dal for this paratha recipe. 

Ingredients

You can use either toor dal, moong dal, chana dal, or pink masoor dal for making missa paratha dough.

Which Dal?

In a large mixing bowl combine together all the ingredients including dal and 1 tablespoon ghee. Mix nicely.

Try to bring together the ingredients to form a dough. Use 1 – 2 tablespoon of water to bind the dough.

Apply a teaspoon of ghee on the dough. Cover the dough and set aside to rest for 10 – 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into lemon size equal balls.

Follow these steps to shape each dal paratha like a lachha paratha.

Roll the paratha into a round disc with a thickness of less than ¼ inch.

Similarly prepare all the dal paratha. You can freeze them as well.
