Chicken Pulao

You need my signature PASTE A, PASTE B, curd, salt, coriander powder, and red chili powder for chicken marination.

Ingredients For Marination

For making pulao, you need marinated chicken, basmati rice, ghee, onion, and a few other staple ingredients.

Step 1 is to marinate the chicken for the pulao. Marinate it for 1 - 2 hours.

Step 1

Set the SAUTE mode for 10 minutes. Add ghee whole spices, and onion. Fry till onion are golden. 

Step 2

Add marinated chicken and fry till chicken pieces turn pale white

Step 3

Add salt, and the soaked rice without any water. Stir to combine. Saute for a minute.

Step 4

Add 1 ¼ cups of water, mint leaves, coriander leaves, and green chili. Stir to combine. Close the lid.

Step 5

Pressure Cook the chicken pulao for 5 minutes in instant pot. Let steam release naturally.
