Red Chilli Flakes, Chilli Powder and Garlic are the key flavouring ingredients for this chilli oil recipe.

Ingredient

Combine chilli flakes, garlic, powder, salt, and sugar in the heat-proof bowl

Step 1

In a saucepan, add oil, whole spices, and ginger slices—heat oil to 180 degrees F. Ensure it is not smoking.

Step 2

Remove the whole spices from the hot oil using a slotted spoon or a pair of tongs.

Step 3

Carefully and cautiously pour the hot oil over the chilli mix in a heat-proof bowl.

Step 4

Mix the chilli oil with a big spoon. Once it cools down, add lemon zest and juice. Mix one last time

Step 5

Allow chilli oil to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Step 6

Chilli Oil is ready to use!
