Mung Bean Sprouts

You need dry, uncooked green  moong dal (mung bean) for making sprouts.

Ingredients

Clean, rinse and soak the mung beans (green moong dal) in filtered water overnight or at least 6 hours.

Step 1

After soaking the size of the beans increases as they soak a lot of water. 

Step 2

Transfer the soaked lentil to a colander the following day. Let them sit for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Take a clean and dry cheesecloth. Spread the drained mung beans in the muslin cloth, and tie them into a loose knot

Step 4

Keep the piece of cloth with sprouts in a bowl with a lid. Put  the bowl in some dry and dark place for 24 hours.

Step 5

Sprouts Are Ready!

Mung Bean Sprouts are perfect for salad.
