Rava Cake

Blend semolina and sugar in a mixer to make a powder. 

Step 1

Make sure to mix all the dry ingredients for the rava cake  together nicely. 

EXPERT TIP

Add curd to the dry ingredients mixture. Combine and set aside for 10 minutes. 

Step 2

In another mixing bowl whisk milk, saffron, cardamom powder, and ghee for 1 minute

Step 3

Add rava and curd mixture to liquid batter. Combine to form a smooth, lump free cake batter. 

Step 4

Do not whisk the cake batter for too long. Once all the ingredients are combined, stop mixing. 

EXPERT TIP

Bake cake in a 8 inch round cake at 180 degree Celcius for 40 - 50 minutes.
